Love Wins : Sade Gilibert Officially off the market

Sade Gilibert is the latest celebrity in the South African queer scene that will soon be marked off the dating registration database as she is now officially engaged to be married to her almost a decade romantic partner, Coco Shane. 




The former Yo-TV child star made the announcement on her Instagram account on July 4th, 2023 with the caption 'enGAYged!!'. 




For those who are too young to have seen Gilibert doing her thing on the Yo-TV shows, perhaps, you might remember her from the South African version of the American dance reality show called 'So You Think Can Dance'. She was announced as the presenter of the show on August of 2008. 


The UK based  television production coordinator and actor received an influx of congratulatory massages from her family, friends, fans, and a few South African famous faces.


 Lerato Sengadi, wife of the late Motswako icon, HHP , commented on the comment section 

"Congratulation my love!!!! I'm ready to be a strooi meisie". 


The former Top Billing presenter and celebrity chef, Lona Maseko, also joined the thread with a short comment

"Congratulation"

MK Party Growing, SA LGBT+ Should Worry

The South African queer community is so relaxed while a political party of a former statesman who has publicly demonstrated his strong dislike of the community is growing exponentially.  This does not come as a surprise though as the community is often ignorant on political issues that could potentially affect their lives. This was in full display when the National Health Insurance Bill was in the process of being signed into law. There were no vocal voices from this community publicly expressing how the passing of the bill could improve the access of healthcare services for our people. And that is happening again with the stalling of the Hate Crimes and Hate Speech Bill.
